A Black Man is naturally “Bold, Strong and Beautiful”. In Nigeria, as well as most African Countries, the generality of the people are hardworking and industrious. Most of the jobs that are mechanized in places such as America are done with bare hands here. This is not to say mechanical devises are bad or that they are not useful, far from it. I am just trying to drive home the point of how the black man can take on so much even with so little.
A black man is not “Dull” either; many are experts in their chosen fields of human endeavors. A flip through the pages of history will prove that the black race had been blessed with Many Erudite, Articulate and Ingenious Black Men, like Booker T. Washington, Nelson Mandela, and the sitting president of the United States of America, Barrack Obama. In the field of Sport, most especially, individual sporting events, in Track and Field, the Blacks dominates.
What then is the problem of the Black Man? How come almost all African countries are grappling with the problem of “Poverty and Squalor”? You know what I think; it is lack of Brotherly Love, Vindictiveness and Religious Bigotry. We engage in unnecessary Warfare with one another. This problem led to the demise of all historical West African Empires like Ghana, Mali, Songhai, Fulanis, Kanuris, Yoruba etc.
Africans obviously has not learnt any thing from History. If they had, Liberia and Sierra-Lone would certainly not have happened, not to mention Rwanda and Darfur. A greater majority of our leaders are not only corrupt but simply not good administrators. Some like Robert Mugabe means well but they employ Crude Methods which are mundane and therefore not acceptable to many.
